For most businesses in Bangladesh, Facebook and Instagram are where customers spend their time. Meta Ads can be the fastest way to reach them — or the fastest way to burn a budget. Here is the approach I use, whether for a clinic in Dhaka or an insurance brand in New York.
1. Research before you spend
Know who your customer is, what problem they are trying to solve and how they talk about it. Check competitors in the Meta Ad Library to see which offers and formats they keep running — ads that run for a long time are usually the ones that work.
2. Pick one clear objective
Decide whether you want messages, leads, calls or website bookings, and build the campaign around that single goal. For service businesses in Bangladesh, Messenger and WhatsApp conversations often convert better than website forms.
3. Your creative is your targeting
- Lead with the problem your customer feels, in their language — Bangla often outperforms English
- Use real people and real places instead of generic stock images
- Short vertical video builds awareness; clear static posters work well for offers
- Test several hooks, then scale the winner
4. Keep targeting simple
Start with broad audiences in your service area and let Meta’s algorithm find buyers. Narrow down only when the data tells you to. For local businesses, the location radius matters more than detailed interests.
5. Respond fast
An ad that generates messages is only as good as the team answering them. Slow replies kill conversions, so make sure someone is ready to respond quickly with clear prices and next steps.
6. Measure what matters
Track cost per conversation or lead, but also how many of those become paying customers. Cheap leads that never convert are expensive. Review weekly, cut what is not working and move budget to what is.
Good Meta Ads are not about a secret targeting trick. They are about a clear offer, strong creative and fast follow-up.
